Adequate Housing and COVID-19: Assessing the Potential for Value Creation through the Project

The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly affected the relationship between people’s behaviors and residential spaces, bringing to public academic attention, on one hand, exacerbation of pre-existing problems and, other, potential such as communal gardens apartment-block terraces, become important resources sociability or privacy. Overall, this raises question how assess responsiveness existing stock needs that transcend traditional concept housing adequacy—e.g., need for adaptable, open, livable spaces.
